i have a few days to take before november, just wanna go somewhere that i can get to from manchester airport. dont mind going in the week to get very cheapest flights. jet2 flies to loads of places now so not sure where to go. say about mid october. been to malaga last year. apparently croatia is dull and foggy and cold at that time of year. im tempted with amsterdam, sardinia, or somewhere in italy. just want a few days in an interesting city or nice beach.

any suggestions?

It's been done before, and done, and done, but well done anyway...

PS...what's that got to do with anything..?

Try www.flightscanner.net and you can search Manchester to any country/city you choose. I did this with a view to a similar fairly last minute trip a couple of weeks ago and it definitely gave me the best deals I found anywhere!

Do you mean skyscanner?

ETA - I usually use kayak.co.uk. More user friendly and more choice = lower prices.

Mahon very nice, but will be pretty quiet. Alicante's nice out of season.
