The worst job of car cleaning I find is the inside of the windscreen. I have tried a few products and cloths over the years and can't find a happy solution. Either the spray gets all over the dash or a powder residue if I try windowleene again. Worst though is I can never get a comfortable position to polish and apply the right pressure and then my hand slips off the pad and I get a fresh palm print on the glass.

Anyone got a killer method for cleaning their windscreen?

bit smelly. not all that pleasant. newspaper + light coloured interior is not a good plan either. wont argue that it makes glass very clean though

personally Id get some of those windscreen wipes. bit of a con all things considered but it makes it much easier and overcomes both your problems.....halfords or anywhere similar or web is easy to get em

There are some interesting 'toys' for cleaning the inside of the screen, but I find spraying some Einszett Glass Cleaner onto a pad or glass cleaning towel the best way to remove fug.

The last time I used vinegar (diluted with water) and newspaper it seemed to make my windscreen steam up really badly. I don't know if it was something to do with the water being warm/steam or what but it was bloody annoying!

Ended up using glass polish and it came up a treat...

Go to your local glazier/Double glazing company and buy some glass cleaner over the counter.

I don't know what's in ours as we have them branded with our name on the bottle and it doesn't say what the ingredients are, but we sell 1 litre in a trigger spray bottle for £4.39p.

Best stuff ever, honest!
