The gearbox in my e36 325i saloon needs replacing and I was wondering if any other model shares the same box? I am using the car on track so certain peculiarities may not be a problem, any input would be most appreciated yes

The gearbox from a 320i will mate up no problem at all but I think it has closer ratios than the 325i unit.
