A couple of times now I've left the car for a few minutes (paying for petrol or something) and when I came back the car wouldn't start (after disabling the immobiliser). I blip the alarm on, wait a few seconds, turn it off and start the car.
On New Years Eve, as I was trying to get home before the festivities, it done it again only this time it wouldn't start.......
I called the AA and sods law says that as soon as you try and show him the problem it'll work ok.
Anyways, we managed to replicate the problem eventually and he reckons that there is a problem either in the alarm system or a dodgy connection on the electrical feed for the starter. He didn't find the problem as the car started shortly after again and I really needed to get home.
Anyone else had any experience of this so that I can narrow down the problem to somewhere hopefully before I get really stranded.
Cheers and Happy New Year

Check the plug connection behind the nearside rear passenger seat. Bit awkward to get to.
You mean the control box in the boot?? Already been there. I'm thinking it might be a bad connection at the starter cause when I turn off the immobiliser all the electrics work and the fuel pump starts but just doesn't turn over.
