Briatore in race fixing scandal !!!!!!

Has anyone else heard about this? I have just read in the Daily Mail that Briatori is under investigation for cheating in last years Singapore Grand Prix. It is alleged he ordered Nelson Piquet to crash his car to help Alonso win the race.

Apparently the investigation was launched after Nelsons dad blew the whistle after his son was given the boot.

Is this an old story that I have missed, is so then please close the thread? If not does anyone else know anything about this?
