Can they really be £360 as quoted by a main dealer for my new motor? That seems like absolute robbery, anybody have a decent contact for a pair at a sensible price?

I ordered a pair from AutoStyle for £77 inc VAT and delivery.

So far I've been very happy with these. Some people have suggested the fit might not be spot on, but I have not had any problems in the 10 weeks I've had them in the car.

Rich.

+1 had mine from Autostyle for over a year and they haven't shown any sign of wear.

AM Wilmslow were clearing some stock a couple of months ago. I got a pair, in black, for £150.
Think they were over stocked or something.

I just bought a set on e-bay for £100 in black and interestingly it had Stratstone Wilmslow on the bag

Wow, thanks for all the replies chaps, it certainly opens the field up a bit. The salesman told me that the carpet is designed to come out easily to be changed. Which is why not everybody buys proper mats, which sounded very odd to me.

Jason

Full retail price on these mats are around £200 NOT £360.

I paid approx £170 for mine from an AM dealer which included a 10% discount.

Well the mat situation gets stranger and stranger, AM advise that the price depends on the colour! £150 for black cherry, £251 for obsidian and £170 for bitter chocolate all plus Vat. If anybody has a new pair for sale please drop me a line, cheers.

I'm on my third set (under warranty). The new ones seem much better - the area for resting ones heel on is much thicker and rubberised. Fingers crossed they will last longer than the ones they replaced!

thats just plain ridiculous as they are just basic mats like you would buy for £50 for your Ford or such like...just with a tiny Aston Martin label on an edge

I certainly wouldnt buy another set of factory ones.....

I just bought a set of front mats and one for the 'boot' from Lloyd's (USA). Seems it was around $130 or so for the 3 pieces (maybe a little more). This was the model one down from their top of the line. The fit is perfect all around. My interior carpeting is caspian blue, so I just bought plain 'ol black. Doesn't show dirt and easy to clean. At that price, when they start looking a little tattered, I can just chuck them and buy another set.

My local AM dealer wanted $700+ for a set of caspian blue mats. I told him that at that price I would be afraid to use them and would have to buy a set of overmats to protect the AM mats!
