I'm up in Leeds & staying near Elland Road stadium on the 8th & 9th Septmeber on my own. What's there to do in the evenings or does anyone fancy biéré? I don't fancy staying in the hotel all the time.

Not sure, but if there was, I very much doubt it rarely gets put into its intended use.

Didn't know that place was still there.

Anyway you are 5 min drive down M621 to cinema, or 5-10 min drive/cab ride to the town centre. There you can do anything.

Free parking in most car parks at night in the centre.

Sounds like there might be a few about then. I can have plenty the first night as I can get a lift to where I need to be the next day. It'd be good to meet you JagD, Rotary & stallion if you'll come out for a few as well. Tuesday 8th. Will sort things closer to the time.

I also live in Leeds, have to say that there is little to do around Elland Road, unless you want to spend the evening in a 'spit and sawdust' pub. Head into Leeds City Centre. You can go to real ale pubs, late bars, cocktail bars; Leeds has most things. The only thing I will say is that Tuesday may be a little quiet in most places. I'm sure the other locals will be able to recommend places, if not, I'm happy to.

Depending on budget - http://www.mckenziesescorts.com (NWS)

wink

Back in the real world is it just company, food and drink you crave?

There isn't a massive amount of things to do in the evening that I can think of, you could go down to the White Rose Centre and buy a dress and get some "On tour in Leeds" t-shirts made while waiting for a man to print your picture on a 6ft canvas I guess but that might not be your thing.

When is the tunnel run?

ETA: AndyKH - stories please smile
