12K Service - What's Been Your Experience...?

Got my first 12K service on Saturday (only done 6K miles though, the year beat me) and just wondering what people have experienced in the past in terms of replacement parts needed/things need doing etc?

I've never had any surprises, only things I asked to be looked at. List usually pretty short.

same for me really I always get things done as they come up so no real surprises come service time , just had small things like an engine mount etc. Hope yours is the same

I'll be having one soon (though a 6k as only 4000 miles since a 12k service and bottom end rebuild) plus a valve clearance check as a matter of course.
I know I need a new clutch and slave so it will be expensive plus an MOT so whatever may crop up on that (hopefully nothing).
I'm more of a get it sorted as soon as it goes person so hopefully no surprises on the service but you never know...

My last 12K = regular service (oil, plugs, fluid, tracking, alignment etc.)

Plus

Replace upper rear wishbone bushes
Replace handbrake cable
Replace o/s steering gaiter
Replace n/s wiper blade

Thankfully no big surprises & no major expense... Good luck.

cheers... hopefully no big surprises either, i generally try to sort any small things out as and when they happen too. Hopefully it goes smoothly!

No surprises here either, 4 annual services so far, nothing unexpected.
