Short bits of vid filmed spur-of-the-moment around points on Nurburgring on our first sighting laps. First part of clip (if you're quick) is following Venom around in the Karussel, afterwards you can just see Toms arm shoot out the window, in triumph, giving it the woo-hoo!

My fuel-stop bills total over £400, how did everyone else do? Was gutted we never got the 2.5 hours promised fast as you like sole track time, but it was still a fun trip thanks to the cars and people.

On the last main straight:

What does Ausfart mean???

Amy and I stayed to watch the 4 hour GT racing, and got into the pits, 2 Comp Coupes racing, although Zakspeed suffered damage and retired after losing the ABS module.

Driver change / pit stop:

Most were sporting gaffa-tape repairs as the race progressed:

Aston needed more than tape...

We went right to the top of the pit Tower control, you can see a lot of the circuit from up there, amazing views.

Great pics Nad and I especially like the first one for some reason. I only wished I had a camera handy when you overtook me and then lifted off because the flames from your exhaust were spectacular. If you spent that much on fuel you must only have achieved about 10mpg which is probably about right for the beast. I think I spent about £170

I zero'd the millage as we left at 4am, we got 16 mpg average for the whole trip. On WOT it does drop to single figures though. £170 is good going.

Ade, look what I found for you! Now you can have a bio one with cones :-)
(I also took some pics of my simple but effective brakes cooling scoops that I was chatting about, and the bolt locations on the front bumper support, to remove it with the fascia on, send me a PM and I'll pick your email up to send them).

Andrew, yours is bigger than mine, I'm telling people I only have a small Mastiff now at 7.5 stone! No wonder you need the Truck.

I would hazard a guess from the sign that if you take no notice it will be followed by a scream of ausscensoredt

Cool pick btw, nice shots in the pits of the GT racing

Yep, you can EXIT the circuit half way round at Adenau - you can also join there.

We did about £250 worth of petrol. On the steady run from the 1st to 2nd fill up in France, we achieved 25.2mpg smile

Some nice pics there Nad. The view of the circuit from the top of that tower looks great. I averaged about 20mpg.

i think the only way to get a quiet ring trip now as the place is so popular, is to go mid week or early in the year and take a chance with the weather
