House of the Dead - Overkill

Officially the most profane game every released. The worst zombie B movie you can imagine. About 2 hours to play through in standard mode (will try directors cut tomorrow).

One of the funniest games I've ever played.


I think I shall base a drinking game around it. Every time the game uses the F-Bomb, the player must drink. Could be dangerous...

I love the House of the Dead games, just great old school fun. HOTD 2 on Dreamcast had me addicted to the point were I could reach the final boss on an arcade machine.

I have it on Wii but I think it was also on other consoles. Personally I love it, a proper old skool shooter thats been crossed with a Quentin Tarantino/b movie

Plus I bought the "hand cannon" wii remote holder thing

Agreed, this is a brilliant game. Remember to put the extra mutants on, and get a shotgun and an SMG. Always a good one for some late night play if a mate is over helping thin out your whisky collection...

However, we both felt a little sick after watching the final cut scene.

That was a bit grim, though their lengthy explanation for it was brilliant.

Agree'd this game is great with a few bevvies with mates.. shotgun and smg, both with all upgrades..

And yes the F Bomb must be dropped every other word lol

Brilliant game!

Girlfriend and I played it for hours on end, the soundtrack is perfect as well.

Went and bought HOTD 2 and 3 to try and get a little more of the same but they are vastly different.

Looking for more Wii shooters but there doesn't seemt to be much else

Try Ghost Squad. It's very arcadey/light guny fayre, but it's entertianing enough. Especially in 'paradise' mode.

Yeah, Ghost Squad is good. For more Zombies Resident Evil 4 is great...
