Surplus prescription drugs - any overseas charities?

I used to give my surplus prescription drugs to a church charity which sent them overseas where they might be used. My contact has ceased doing this - does anyone know of a similiar charity?

Nice idea, but not worthwhile, I'm afraid due to too many problems concerning the suitability of the returned medicines for the third world and the manpower hours required to sort the returns. A very small percentage is found to be suitable for reuse and the rest becomes a problem for disposal

Best to return unused medicines to your pharmacist for safe disposal.
