Seen these before but it is still worth looking again if only to wonder at the integrity of the roll cage.
80-100 mph over a 400 foot drop and the cage doesn't even look bent. The fact that everything else has departed i.e. Engine, 'box, wheels and suspension demonstrates what a rough ride they had and the driver walks away.

Ahh yes,
Randy Bare's Sports - the first Ultima I ever saw. Lust at first sight! It had competed at Run-and-Gun about 2 months before dying at Virginia City. Still have pics of his car at Knott's Berry Farm kit car show. This car inspired my dream for an Ultima - now in construction. You gotta chase your dreams!
