I'm not drunk. But I can tell I had something to drink last night. A welcome reminder not to be dumb in my case!

I haven't had a drink in a week. frown

Very healthy and all that, but it just doesn't feel right.

Cant do it anymore... well the hangover at the desk anyway, cause its an instant dismissal in my new job.

So I have to behave during the week now.

Before in my old job I did it once or twice but soon realised that staring at a monitor or 2 for 8 hours whilst hungover/still drunk is a form of torture for me that is worse than the water torture, so I had to stop being so reckless.

God I feel old... when young it didnt matter and I could do what I wanted frown

Back when I didn't own the Company a hangover at work was instant dismissal, too.

When you did have one it was sheer hell because you simply could not let it show...

Either that or only do a few beers.... taking the day off is expensive (dont work, dont get paid) so will have to sort it out... Already had to decline going with the OH to Lapland and Finland with her folks for a few weeks this month, as a) it will effectively cost me several k to do it and b) its only 2 weeks into the new job.
