Anyone lived in a city with a P1 before? It seems that one my wheels is very bent and the other 3 are moderately bent. I think a vibration through the car over 75mph has been put down to the particularly bent 4th wheel.
It would seem I need a new wheel and Subaru are not very generous! Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
Lawrence

Eh? Are they genuine? The WRC-1 wheel is quite light (at around 10kgs) and very strong. I have a few.

Thanks for the info. They sure are genuine. The grey ones with the O.Z. white lettering etc.
They are obviously a bit lightweight in every respect and it seems speedhums in west london have done this to me!
How much do you let the genuine grey ones go for?

Sorry me old china I don't have any for sale. I've got six, but I'm hanging-on to the spare two in case I trash a wheel.

I've dropped mine into many a pot-hole and regularly drive on poor surfaces without any hint of damage - they are supposed to be very strong.

Are you sure it isn't the tyrewall that's been damaged? I had a 17" wheel (not a WRC1) which I dropped into an enormous pothole and then had very bad vibration; I assumed the wheel was bent, but it was just the tyre.

And some tyres, notably P-zero in that size (205/45/17) have been known to lose their shape and give the same symptoms.

Well in which case I am jealous. You have 6??!! I only want one but if you're not keen to sell then i will keep searching.
I am not sure as to why these sueprlights are so soft on mine by all accounts. I will investigate the tyre issue but they are not long new and having got rid of a tyre that was mis-shaped. But I put this wheel on the back as it was the "most bent" one and now the vibration has changed from over 60mph to over 80mph and is less in the steering wheel and more through the seat. Makes the plastic dash trim everywhere rattle more than it ever did too which is annoying.
Any ideas where I could get another rim?
Cheers

They turn up on Ebay occasionally, or you could try calling/emailing Prodrive direct.
