Gatwick Hotels
Discussion
Good Afternoon,
Im looking to book a hotel for next Saturday evening at Gatwick. I need to be at the airport at 4am Sunday morning so looking for somthing close. I have stayed in the Sofitel before which is very convienient but is expensive for what it is!
Anyone know of a decent hotel that is close to the airport that has a reliable means of getting there (walk or regular shuttle) as I dont want to have to use an unreliable taxi first thing in the morning!
Cheers and over to the PH experts!
Sorry Mods Ive put in wrong room! can you put it in the main Lounge for maximum affect!!

Yotel. Pay by the hour and it's in the airport.
At first I thoughyoy may think I had somthing in mind suggesting by the hour

They're pretty small rooms as far as I'm aware but the wife insists there's everything you need, they're clean, comfy and the food is also supposedly very good.

Hilton Gatwick. You can get parking included and it is connected to South Terminal so you can walk straight to check in (or scrum as I like to call it).
Of course if you need North Terminal you may need a cab.
No taxi needed it's a 15 min walk/shuttle ride using the free monorail.Of course if you need North Terminal you may need a cab.

The Ibis Gatwick looks good and has plenty of good reviews on holiday-extras.
I'll second that. Easy to find, a safe car park where YOU park your car and keep the keys, nice hotel, with smoking rooms, and a shuttle bus from 5am onwards. In June we got a nights stay and a weeks parking for £65 plus transfers. It's now our only choice for when we fly from Gatwick.
