Hi all,

I'm new to this section of the forum, didn't realise it existed until a few days ago, so I think I should introduce myself.

I'm Ben, aged 17 from Reigate in Surrey, currently going through the process of learning to drive.

Now for the challenge...

Within the next few weeks I'm looking at buying an MGB. I've gone over what seems to be the whole of the internet with a fine-toothed comb looking for the right car at the right price - to elaborate, one that goes, and one that costs circa £1000. Yup, I know it's not a lot though I have seen a couple of such cars slip through the net as I have been building up my funds. I digress...

Basically, if you have an MGB, be it GT or Roadster for sale near you that might be parked up by the side of the road or in a small dealer that costs around £1000-£1500, please let me know and I'll go out and snap it up.

All the best,

Ben

Not a car for sale - but a fellow young PHer MG-FIDO is a hardcore MG enthusiast, and would, I'm sure be willing to give you any specific guidance and help from a 'youngsters' perspective smile

Welcome to the unit.

I've thought about that one, but I don't think I could bring myself to own one in such a horrific colour scheme. Thanks anyway, and keep hunting! wink

Well fancy that! You're the one that's into photography as well yes? As am I!
Let me know if you see me driving around in a blue W-reg Fiat Punto with L-plates on...no photo as it's not deserving enough...laugh

Where are you at college?
