Well before autmun has gone and winter sets in I'd thought about seeing if anyone was interested in a run into the Lakes taking in some of the great roads.

Planning on doing this the second weekend of October, starting saturday midday at a meeting point, then bomb off into south lakes arriving at a hotel for dinner and overnight stay then continue with a final run on sunday, departing after pub lunch to go home after lunch.

The rough plan would be to include a little shopping for the lady's,touring the scinic roads, taking in Blue Bird,Windermere,Amblside, keswick etc.

Thought we could meet M6 services, maybe another northeren services for second pickup for northeren folk, then hand out maps, details etc before deparating into the lakes.......

Anyone interested as would like to get hotel booked, how much people want to spend for hotel etc,I wont be going to exspensive...! more money for beer, this isnt anything posh just some pre winter fun, having fun in the noble......any takers ?

GC + 1.

Graham,
We will not require a hotel room, we will either drive over and meet you all on Sunday morning or we will stay with friends in Cumbria Saturday and meet you on Sunday.
No need to wash your car, it always rains in the lakes....................

You could always drive up via Yorkshire and call in to see some friends!

Hey Sharron, how are you? perhaps we could go together and give them what for eh!!

Hows your going now?. I have got mine running just nice now, had it serviced last week and soooo much better.

Got a bit of a power upgrade planned later this year as well. I may take a ride up if I am free that weekend, if not will see you some other time.

Actually, yes. I'm around that weekend, it'll be the last time I get to drive it before it gets wrapped up for the winter.

Ok chaps the start is at Burton in Kendal services,M6 thats northbound, for 12pm where I'll issue everyone a plan of the route and where we'll be stopping, this way it saves time in posting routes out etc.

As for people who are staying over in the Skelwith hotel please book now (£50)Depos, and mention me and noble cars so to get the discount. The person name to book with is 'Edina'....

For the others who wish to join us for sunday 'part 2' we can meet at the hotel before setting off or rondevue at Amblside. ? comments welcome.

I will give out my number to all who have signed up for any last minute changes, weather etc...nearer the time.
