My 7 month old border collie pup has been physically sick 3 times in 3 days. He's still eatings and drinking and otherwise seems ok.

My gut reaction is to keep an eye on him and only take him to the local vet if he becomes noticeably worse and/or stops eating/drinking.

Would you agree?

I'd take a guess that he's eaten/swallowed something, and if it doesn't find it's way through you'll need a vet. Probably best to get him checked anyway.

I have no medical knowledge/training to back that up though.

Once a day for 3 days isn't too bad if well in himself but it shouldn't continue and it would be useful to know a bit more about what he is vomiting and when (e.g. after a meal, after eating grass, after running around a lot etc) Any diarrhoea or is he passing faeces as normal?

If he was a very young pup then he'd need to see a vet sooner but he should be ok to wait til Mon unless signs worsen. However you could always phone vets for phone advise.
