If you are with BT IIRC you can ring them and put that number on block or something very similar.
Its on my mobile and its another mobile that is ringing me, I think it could be the Mrs's ex as he did it when we got together same times of the day as now, but that was 4 years ago, maybe some people dont grow up.Many years ago when I was working in a shop I charged the wrong price for a TV. I went round to see the customer but she refused to pay the extra. I explained that if anything went wrong with it the repair would be chargeable, as she had the wrong model number on the receipt. She then accused me of trying to blackmail her so I got nowhere and had to cough up the extra myself. It was only £12 but this was a lot in 1976. For several years afterwards this woman was woken up at all hours of the night by her phone ringing, then the caller hanging up (this was years before 1471.)
By the way I am not proud of this.

Looks like someone wants to play games tonight, I have had 19 calls in an hour all with a withheld number bar one, all silent and they hang up rather quick, Seen as I have the number what can I do to get them stopped. I have turned my phone off for now.
A whistle or a air horn tends to stop these calls fairly quickly
I used to get a lot of spam calls on my home phone, but I never use the phone and never give it out to anyone important, therefore when the phone broke I didn't replace it. Instead I can be happy that if anyone is trying to ring me to sell me stuff I dont need they are just getting an ongoing ring until they decide to try someone else. It is the perfect solution.
