Hello Chaps, Autocar Magazine want to do a buying guide to the Monaro. Need to chat to owners about their experiences plus we need to take some snaps of your cars ideally at a friendly HSV dealer, but not essential. This will be a 4 page spread and as ever we do need to get sorted in the next week or so. You can email me, James Ruppert direct at james@bangernomics.com Thanks James

It depends on where the cars are really. If there are a couple of cars near each other then it doesn't matter. Had one reply from Kent so at the moment its Kent! I live in Norfolk and nowhere ever seems to be near there...

Think you have a few owners near you so you may be lucky!

Well theres 4 (maybe 5?) Monaros in Worthing and as everybody knows it is the highlight of the south coast. cool

Think Rocklandboy is Norfolk way and there are some others that way - theres also a few in Kent but they are currently being invaded by some larger/bulkier saloons.

I'd like to say thanks a huge bunch for responding so quickly to my request. I've now got quite a few options to pass onto Autocar. I think it is still important to speak to enthusiasts like yourselves as that's what the car is all about. I will keep you all posted on what we do and where we do it.

Thanks again James

Is that the one on the 20th? It just depends on Autocar's deadlines.

Best regards

Hello Chaps, Autocar will be there on Wednesday morning to talk to the Monkfisheries people, so we can have a chat and take pictures. Look forward to meeting whoever comes along.

All the best James

When you say quad pipes do they look very much standard 6litre vxr quad pipes or a fair bit bigger?

I've just measured them and each one of the pipes is 3 inch wide so yep they are a lot bigger. They only just fit in the cut out.
