Are you connected to the Internet when you are in FrontPage?

These widgets need to be able to download from Pistonheads site, so if no connection on your PC then it will just show up blank in FrontPage.

Just checked my widget, does not show in "Normal" view, Obviously not in "HTML" view, but is does show in "PREVIEW". Tabs at bottom like Excel sheets.

I'm using FrontPage2000, not sure how the other version's work with the preview.

Sorry not much help

IMHO FrontPage doesn't support every HTML trick, like contour mapping. However, it's what it looks like on the internet that counts!

Try previewing it in a browser and NOT frontpage... BTW The best advice I can give about creating webpages is don't use frontpage!!!

Yes, I agree here.

Pies, could it be that the widget is created by Javascript, and your FrontPage does not support Javascript in its preview mode?

Best way to create HTML pages is to have a documentation of HTML functions, some important Javascript functions and CSS. Use an editor to create the files, and a browser to check them while working.
This is not the best for novices, but you already have some experience yet, and there will be no limits in functions that Frontpage provides, and you'll be able to write some clean code
