New wheels need new tyres

I know its been done to death but would really need a nudge in the correct direction.
I would prefer a change from the standard sizes; read good stuff about the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta but would the 40 profile make any difference to handling etc?
What tyre size for the rear? My t350 is as factory.

Well if my mates Tuscan is anything to go like on 40 profile it will tramline and steer from the back badly. 35 profile cured that.

Trouble is that if you increase the width to enable use of lower profile you will almost definitely foul the wheelarches.

I don't see what is wrong with standard sizes. The car rides well and there are no clearance issues.

Has anyone fitted the new version of the Goodyears (something or other asymetric?) since F1 GSD3s are less available now?

I've got the F1 Assymetrics all round, they are a big improvement especially in the wet. There have been a few posts about them but just make sure you get the German version and not the Chinese as the side wall on the Chinese version has a poorer make up.

I recently bought a set of Khumo tyres allround. Seen really good reviews and managed to a set on the 19" Jade R alloys for £410 fitted. Great grip in wet and dry and little road noise. Great buy for the price
