Hi

I have been looking at E46 M3 prices recently, towards the end of last year they seemed to drop pretty quickly, with the cheapest ones (probably dogs) going for c£10k. What do the collective think about prices over the next 3 years? For example i'm considering buying an early car (say 2002) with good spec, (preferably a manual with HK, TV, bluetooth and 18" wheels). Say i can pick an 80k mile example up for about £12,000 today, what might it be worth in 3 years with 100k miles? I know it's a crystal ball question but i'm assuming the economic recovery will impact demand for this kind of car and will no doubt have an effect on prices.

Thanks.

Car prices have already taken a tumble and recovered IMO.

I paid 18600 for my individual 05 M3 SMG coupe with avg miles in April & got offered 18500 in a px deal just 2 weeks ago.

I dont think the economy will pay a part in what people will pay for a 2002 M3 with above avg miles. £12k car is going to be worth maybe 7-8k in 3yrs time.

My 2005 one will be worth circa 12k................

I plan to sell mine in the next 18 months if I get around 15k i'll be happy!!
