Its a chassis question.......
Got the front of the car up and a quick flick of hands and eyes over the chassis and I've noticied that the tops of the upper rails, passing underneath the manifolds are flacking rust which is bad news for the MOT.
Looks like I'm going to have to remove the manifolds to get in there properly, not an enviable task to be taken lightly but whatever I use isn't going to last a very long time as the constant heating and cooling is going to hammer the heck out of whatever I use.
So to avoid having to do this again, has anyone developed or used any form of heat shielding to limit this kind of damage?
