Hi can anyone tell me what car the window motor is off, also require a windsreen wiper motor

SD1 Rover - Rimmer Bros have lots of new stock from India about £35 ish each. Don't know about windscreen motor though.

I think the window motor mechanism is originally off a Rover SD1 rear doors. The windscreen motor I believe is TVR specific (well I've not heard of it being off anything else). Having 1 wiper sweeping near to 180 deg makes it different from most cars. When I was looking for a new park switch some years ago I found that the TR7 motor was similar but with a different switch mounted in a different place and different gearing to give the correct throw. If it's the actual motor that's the problem then it MAY be possible to use the bits off a TR7 motor to repair it. Cheers Steve.
