racing reds.........any views

i am in need of replacing my dampers and i am thinking of RR's
i dont track my 500 but like the idea of adjustables all round.

i know the early RR's had a seal problem but am assured this has now been sorted

any views would be great

Just had Gaz Gold Pro's fitted on mine and the difference is amazing. Can't comment on RR's. When changing mine a few steered me away from them though due to the seal issues etc. HTH

Don't forget there are others out there too. I have Protech ( click) and been happy with them. About due for replacement again though and will probably bite the bullet and go for pricey ones like Nitron when I get around to it.

I have had nitrons on my car and found them a fantastic improvement over the Avo's i had before

Sp6 Animal has Racing Reds on his 350c and he says they are superb not sure what he had on prior to them though

I've got RRs on my Chim. The fronts leaked. Replacements were on in less in 24 hrs and they are fine so far.

I think a few people's leaked.

As for performance, I don't really know. Fine, I guess. I haven't adjusted them (indy set a 'default and I've stayed with that).

If I was doing it again, I'd get Bilsteins. I don't need adjustable suspension.

Another vote for Nitrons - chalk and cheese compared with Gaz nickels.
Buy cheap, buy twice - as I learned to my cost.
