T350T Headlights

Are the headlights a fixed unit? Wanted to clean the inside but can not see any way to do it.

Andy they are 'sealed' from the outside. Its not easy to remove the plastic lens covers without breaking them and/or damaging the body. Unless they are leaking or fogging up I would leave them alone its a horrid job to do even when you have to.

Like the man says, a truly horrid job. Took me a full day to do mine & I'm really not happy with the results. Now I have to do it all over again. Plus, it's going to be worse to get them off this time as they'll be stuck like st to a blanket with all the nice new Ambersil. Grrrr.

Doubt it.
Infact i would say dead easy sickaflex or other type is the difficult to budge stuff ambersill is silicone.

Agreed, the Ambersil should pull out easy (mine did), its the Sikaflex that bonds the covers to the body that is a sod to break the bond on without damaging the cover. I Think Andy wanted to remove the covers to clean under them so it would involve the removal of both. I guess an alternative would be to remove the light unit but not sure how easy this is on the T350.

is there tinted covers which fit the t350?

They are prone to misting. You could whip off the wheels to access the bulb unit, and poke a swab through the bulb hole to clean them. Bit fiddly, and you'll probably find them misty again the next day!

Oops. Got them the wrong way round. I used both, Sickaflex on the inside, Ambersil round the outside.

I agree with Tobee, you can get into them from the bulb side and give them a clean (cloth on the end of a chopstick worked well for my old car).

Mine were misting up all the time, ended up drilling a tiny hole on the underside and then never misted again.

I drilled a tiny hole in the bottom of both my rear light covers and this stopped any misting problems. You don't notice it unless you know it is there. I think it would be more visible on the front, unless you manage to put a hole in the underside somehow (but then it would catch water/spray and 'fill up'.

I have the problem of frequent misting of the headlights on my T350C.
Re-sealing the Ambersil has not helped.
Please advise a little more detail regarding drilling a hole eg location and diameter, plus a photo if possible.

Please advise diameter and location of hole you drilled in rear lights. I have occasional misting problems there also.

Dimension = tiny - smallest drill bit I had
Location = bottom of lens, close to the floor as possible while still being able to vent
