Anyone getting this? Doesn't look too groundbreaking, and certainly nowhere near the hype of Forza 3 or MW2.

do you mean the new ODST game? I think i'll give it a miss, and i was completely obsessed with Halo 3 for ages. So that says something. Doesn;t look that good at all really. Gonna go for Modern Warfare 2 in Nov i think.

It stands for 'Orbital Drop Shock Trooper' rolleyes

It's basically a new single player campaign, and on the mulitplayer, it inclused all the maps and downloadable content of halo 3 with a few extra thrown in.

Doesn't exactly float my boat either!

I'll try it as my mates getting it as he's an avid Halo fan, then see if it's worth getting. I think it looks quite good, they'd have to try hard to make it worse than Halo 3.

??? you can't be referring to the multiplayer?? Halo 3 multiplayer is without doubt the most in depth multiplayer game i've ever played. Forge, Custom Games, along with the ranked and social games etc. So many quality maps and gametypes once you get into it. I get bored of online multiplayer games really quickly, but Halo 3 is another level for online play.

Forge is cool and I like the variety of game types but I just found Halo2 to be better. If only they could re-release it with all the halo3 game types and forge. For me campaign is a big thing on a Halo game.

ODST looks set to be a bit different from Halo. More squad based combat involved and greater tactics. In Halo 1,2&3 you do get your quota of useless marines in the single player game which on harder difficulties are just cannon fodder.

ODST will be a bit more like Gears of War or Ghost Recon with a bit more reliance on tactics rather than brute force.

I think the game looks pretty good and Bungie always get the multi player experience spot on. So this is one I am looking forward to. Also if you pre-order you'll find out a bit more about the Beta for Halo Reach which is being kept pretty quiet at the moment............
