Had to dispose of one of them last night as well...
HOW do they get up the plug hole though??
They don't come up the plug hole.HOW do they get up the plug hole though??
They fall into the bath and can't climb out.
If you are a big jessie and feel that fear of spiders is an acceptable state then leave a towel hanging into the bath.
They will use that to climb out and never bother you again.

king Pennywise climbing out of that shower drain in IT) and drop into the bath water. I was in the bath at the time. It took me about a second to leap out of it.Funny this thread should come up today, as my Mum had a massive garden spider land on her whilst walking the dog this morning and it bit her on the neck. Now I know they're ugly little feckers, but I didn't know they were predisposed to violence as well!

I used to get an absolute barracking for my irrational fear of flying from my mate until I kindly pointed out that he was scared of something many many times smaller than himself. Surely that's more irrational?
I quite like spiders personally and am forever rescuing them from the perils presented by sinks/towels etc.
Also a re-assuring statistic is that there has not been a recorded fatality caused by a spider since the 70's IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!
