i have bought recently the above.

the car has no petrol tank previously

does anyone know were to come across one or could a tank from some other vehicle be used??

would it be better to try and trace original tvr tank in terms of resale etc??

It depends if you are one of these people who demand origionality.

The steel tank in my M was a bit worse for wear, so I simply had a slightly larger rectangular alloy tank welded up and plonked that in the back of the car.

There are plenty of companies out there who can fabricate a tank to suit your requirements.

I think mine cost me about £150 (but I used a local chap who owed me a favour)

an original is going to cost me about 320 all in

i might explore the fabricated avenue and see difference in price!!
