OK, I'm out of my depth here.

Being a middle-aged male I use soap, anti-perspirant and shampoo. These things I can understand. Soap on the hands, anti-perspirant under the arms and shampoo on the head.

However at a recent function I encountered a most splendid handwash by Molton Brown and resolved to investigate. Unfortunately instead of 'soap' I am now met by 're-charge black pepper body hydrator', and am brought to a grinding halt.

Can any rugged young male-model types assist me? I appreciate that soap may have been replaced by 'naran ji soothing hand lotion SPF 15' but what are the current phrases for 'anti-perspirant' and 'shampoo'?

I use the re-charge black pepper body wash as a shower gel (hair & body) but I can't find any deoderant/anti-perspirant on their website, not sure they do any.

Actually I have a brand new boxed Yardley Black Label Soap-on-a-Rope somewhere - an unwanted gift from the 70's!

Bump for the evening crew.

The nice people at Molton Brown said they'd send me a few samples if I told them what I wanted.

I just went back to their site www.moltonbrown.co.uk to try to get my head round it again, and got confused again.

OK, so I can't have soap, shampoo and anti-perspirant that all smell nice and the same. It's rather hard to buy smells over the internet, but I do know I liked the Naran-Ji handwash. What else should I ask for/purchase?

Male grooming experts, where are you?!

That stuff is quite nice and lasts a long time. Can't comment on any of the technical man preening stuff as I have bought things in the past but either forget to or can't understand when to use them.
