Another Vet / dog question

My dog missed her yearly booster jabs this year because of one thing or another so I'm looking to get them done again soon, but a family friend has said that if the booster jabs have run out I'll need to get her the full injections again - i.e. the ones she had as a puppy.
Does anyone know if this is true, and if so how much they would be?
I must admit the cost of the booster injections alone are a rip-off so no doubt I'd have to pay through the nose for the other jabs

I thought they actually lasted about 16 months so you may be ok - wouldn't have thought you have to start all over again?

I believe that most vets will be ok administering boosters up to six months late. Saying that, I don't know if it varies for the different conditions (distemper, parvo, hep etc.).

Your best bet would be to pick up the phone and ask the vet though.

Do you have your own innoculation 'boosted' every year ? Ever had a problem because of it ? Thought not.

The yearly boosters are nice little earner for vets I'm sure, especially as they're much more expensive here than in other countries.

I do realise that if you leave your dogs in kennels then their boosters have to be up date or they might not be accepted however.
