Wanted - T350

Just so you guys know, I'm on the lookout for my next vehicle as my current car is just about to be sold. I've test driven a T350T (the green one at RG) and although it was a bit leggy it definately had the ingrediants for a lot of fun.

I've got my eye on a few in the classifieds but none that absolutely hit every nail, with lower mileage, great condition T's in a silver or black... (although the white one from SG looks great it is a cat D and a coupe, still might take a look though as looks great in white)

So anyone considering selling soon but not put it up, please let me know. I'm not in a rush to buy so might be carless for a little while until the right car comes up (options being a t350, exige or E46 CSL)

I've had all 3 of the ones mentioned...I just sold my CSL last week for the T350T and before the CSL had a mrk2 Exige....All great cars in their own right. The CSL was a great track tool and really flattering to drive...very easy to drive fast and the noise once you give it some...The only thing was that it made you drive like a hooligan every where as it felt like it needed a track......the Exige was agreat handling car and some of the speeds you could take iknto and out of a bend was stunning.

Still yet to master the T350T as it's a totally different machine to the CSL and Exige....and really looking forward to getting to grips with her.

I'm probably almost in your preferred category of almost-seller! Got an eight-week old baby, and facing the inevitable fact that I'll only ever be using my tiv for the commute to work, and occasional weekend errands. It's a 54 reg T350C, 23K, fully serviced and wotnot, and very well looked after. Never driven by my wife! Titanio with anthracite alloys (as you can see on my profile) and black/portland interior. Still undecided, and certainly not in a huge rush, but if it's what you're after we could talk. I'm in Hertfordshire, by the way... You seem to be in Spain, which is not very near!

Preferrably looking for something with less mileage in a T, but the colours are great, but I suppose all depends on price/spec/condition and history like most Tivs I guess! Definately let me know more when you decide to sell.

would like to let u know that ive just put mine up with racing green, its a t350c in chameloeon orange, 18k millage
has been involved in an accident end off last year but has been repaired fully to a better degree than it used to be by racing green,

Thanks Carl, I've looked at that in the classifieds, but in my opinion it's over priced. I appreciate it has a warranty, but I can buy an aftermarket warranty and still be quids in for something similar around the 18-20k mark.

ETA: Thought that may be a little harsh, but just checked the classifieds again. It's the 5th most expensive on there and is accident damaged. Unfortunately the repair costs are not something you can add on top of the price of a car. It should be priced around 18k-19k as it's a 2003, and doesn't list it as having air con installed. As compared to this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1085608.htm for less than the RG asking price and a 2005 model, 13k and air con (although can't vouch for that history either)

no it doesnt have air con, i believe that was put in 2004 models and after.
yes the car has been involved in an accident, but due to this all relavent upgrades have been made with a lot more efficent cooling system installed.
also i would like to point out that the chasis and geo set up are now spot on and due to the work done on it is one of the better cars on the market.

ur not being harsh, u are entitled to ur opinion, but maybe would help u u was aware of all the upgrades that have been made to it

Personally wouldn't see the previous accident damage as a problem if it was repaired by such as RG and its not recorded. Aftermarket warranties for major problems are usually a waste of money whereas buying from a dealer gives you consumer rights which could be invaluable.

No problem, what are the upgrades that were done? It's not listed anywhere and I'm sure I noted it was briefly discussed on another thread.

I'm sure it's a great car, the same as the one from SG I've been looking at (accident damaged but rebuilt by Ryan and a 4.0 upgraded engine by TVR Power) for around 17k, but I just can't get over the premium for an accident damaged car, however good it has been repaired.

That is definately my personal choice though, I'm sure I'm in a minority and just new to the TVR way of thinking! (in that, there aren't any new one's on the road, and repairing to better than original can be more desirable)

i know of it having new upgraded front bushes, upgraded front suspension upgraded alumunion radiator and all new upgraded pipes, for a full list u would need to speak to RG, i would personally rather pay a little more at a garage as in a previous thread u have more rights.

When was the work done malman? Would it come with engine warranty if it's being sold by those guys? (it's towards the end of my budget so nothing left for rebuilds )

Would come with service and warranty. Work was done about 1300 miles ago. Remember all things are negotiable to some extent

Have a chat with Tony - I've had 2 TVRs off him and I'd buy another and to be fair I probably will if I get a chance in future.
