how much taller does a Rotex supercharger (like this http://pistonheads.com/sales/1040389.htm) make a GTi-6 engine? what rough dimensions does it end up?

If you're worried about clearance for fitting in a 205, then if you ask RichW on 306gti6.com he'll tell you - he makes a manifold specifically for that.
Generally I think it's about 40mm for Carls kit.

As these kits are made by myself any modifications you require to fit to other vehicles can be carried out, just ask, if its for a 205 conversion i can make a shorter inlet manifold to suit.

Would do this foc as part of the kit.

This looks interesting Carl, and this is fine with no internal mods?

Can we expect it to shorten the life of the engine at all?

Plenty of people running 250/260bhp with no internal mods, yes.

As Philip has said above (hi phil), the kits can go on cars with no internal mods and they are fine, the engine needs to be a healthy unit before hand but otherwise its not a problem.

I ran my car like it for 12 months and it was spot on, i just upgraded as i was after a little more power. A few of my customers have car with these kits fitted and one of the engines has 155k miles on it and it gets tracked quite often.
