I love it when it grips. So only when I'm not on a slope.

mine does not seem to hold the car very well either.

It's a feature of drum parking brakes - it should hold the car great when facing down a slope but needs a little more ratchet lock when facing up.

Good practise to leave in gear anyway as you shouldn't trust any handbrake - esp when the rear brakes are hot after a run

Monaro has an excellent handbrake.

I've always found a drum handbrake to be at least as good as a disc, but mine feels like it could do with some adjustment, seems to be far too many clicks.

I was going to have a look at it tomorrow but does anyone know where the adjustment is on the cable, is it in the same place as the Monaro?
