I found this in the classifieds. Not sure if it would fit in an Ultima but if it does it looks good value.

If it can be run inverted then why not. Does look like a good solution. Have you an idea of the ratios inside? What kind of electronics needed to make it run correctly?

I got all excited about this - damn good price.

If it's only 450hp then the twin turbo might give it a bit of a mangling....

Dog ring engagement + lots of torque + less-than-perfect gearchanges = Gearbox out regularly.

I found this out when using a sequential Hewland FGC on my single-seater with 600HP.

As soon as the edges are knocked off the dogs, you won't be able to change gear...

just spoke to quaife did not realise these were rated so low looks like i may have to give it a miss.

also if its an upgrade for a GT3 its likelly to be for a track car and thus the gearing will be very low and you will be topping out at 150mph with a SBC... also wont handle as much power as the porsche unit!
