Dash starter button, help please.

I was looking at the products Derek recommends (link below) and I feel tempted to go for a panel push button start mounted on a new Leven steel dash, week after next.

I really need some help here please, as I am working well away from the car at the moment as to what to order from afar, I have also looked at the excellent article from Bob Smith:

My questions are:

1) I already have a dealer fitted rubber type push button start under the dash, so would it just be a case of extending wires from this to a new switch, or do I need more relays?

2) I see the recomended mounting point is to replace the fog light switch, I assume that is because it is closer to the driver. To make it neat I then would use hazard light switch hole to house the removed fog light switch. Mounting the hazards finally with a different style flasher switch, say under dash or steering column which is where hazard flasher switches are located on many other vehicles.

3) What size switch do I buy for the opening, is the opening already 22 mm, or does it need enlarging?

4) Has anyone seen these switches and how do they compare/blend with the factory switches, do they look good, a bit odd or boy racer Halfords?

5) Any real advantages or disadvantages in doing this mod, bearing in mind I already have the common hot start prob addressed?

Hole size does not need any alteration. I moved the hazard warning switch to the switch point under the dash by the left knee and eliminated the dash light switch

Thanks for asking. Indeed I am. I was ill for a while but a bit over a year ago things began to look up. Been a massive boost as I couldn't see the end of it at the time.

How are things with you? Did you oveheat? A good day that was.
