Has any one been on one? Looking for next year. Ideally a week on a boat & a week on land.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I've been on a few and I sail in the region myself (bareboat charter) every year. In short, the whole experience is awesome which makes me do it evry year. You can depart from Bodrum, Marmaris or Gocek. From Bodrum and Marmaris, you can visit Gokova bay and/or Gulf of Hisaronu (my favorite). From Gocek, you can visit Gocek bay and Dalyan area. 6 days is optimal.

The best is to get together with a few couples and rent your private Gulet. Normally, you do the grocery shopping and the crew cook for you. If you are a single couple, you can join a group with others. The Gulets come in many sizes with 2-12 cabins, so there is something for everyone. Some new ones are very luxurious.

Hope this helps.

Dodo, I'm toying with this for next year - do you have any companies you would recommend?

Had Ham,

I'll avoid favoring one company over another but all big ones should be decent. Talk to them beforehand and see if they're willing to meet your requirements. Don't focus too much on the price but the quality of service they offer. You won't be dissapointed.

Good luck.
