Quite a few have changed CS for Scud don't think any have regreted the change. I am keeping mine for now.
If you go on clunscuderia and do a search you will find quite a few threads making comparisons on the 2.

a few have done 430 to scud and one or two have done CS to scud - im sure the car is faster and in terms of technology miles in front of the CS - but i guess you have to weigh up the extra cost to swap for what your going to get out of the newer car?

Dean,

It cannot be £60k better surely. Ill need to get a shot of one.

I guess buying both is the best plan or indeed a 599. There is a black 599 for sale 5 mins walk from me now.......

im not sure; not driven one, have followed a few and yes they sound good - but the question is, do they sounds as good as a strad?

i think a strad and a 599 is a perfect balance.

Not sure, think you might always wonder why the CS feels so slow after driving a 599 smile

practically every 1st generation stradale owner bought a scud.

its only the stradale fan club on club scuderia that will tell you a stradale is better. eventually they will all buy a scud...

I've always loved Stradales but I was looking at 16M's in Graypaul on Sunday... what a stunning car.

Yes I know what you mean about those 16M's - http://athorby.zenfolio.com/p451986193/h1ede9519#h... I was suprised to see not one but two in there. For what it's worth 360CS all the way!

Maybe the biggest step after buying your first Ferrari is selling your first Ferrari? That indeed could be the biggest issue for me.

This issue is going to be like the 993, 996, 997 Porsche story where the 993 owners held on and passed by the 996 model by for the 997. This would mean that the 458 'Challenge Scuderia' will be the car to order now!

I haven't driven either but I love the CS cloud9, I think there will be a noticeable difference between them, but unless you are a very very keen racing driver that does track days 3 or 4 times a week you will probably struggle to find £60k improvement in the Scud.

i had a few 993s and went straight to a 355 spider , which i px'd after 5 years for the CS . A v good friend px'd a CS[also owned from new] for Scud and loves it. You really must drive a Scud and see what you like more...
