Will these wing mirror covers fit a V50?

I have seen these metal Design R C30 wing mirror covers on Ebay.

I have contacted the seller Stratstone Volvo Nottingham and asked if they would fit my 2005 V50. The reply was they would only fit S40/V50 from 2008.

Can anybody tell me if the wing mirrors changed in 2008 and would these covers fit my 2005 V50?

As noone else has answered, the only help/advice I can offer, is that the car has been facelifted (slightly) since 2005...think it was the 2008MY. Anyway, that might mean the design of the wing mirror might have slightly changed??!

I'm not much help on this either, I think the covers are different on my 09 MY(58) compared to my previous 06MY (55) but unless I stuck it side by side it's difficult to be definite. Sorry.
