Anyone know what 'guage' thread or whatever I should be getting. Im assuming all cars dont have the same size hole in which to place these things? http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/search.asp?...

Do people use the screw in ones now, or is it the norm to mount to the chassis instead.
Im just after the screw in fellas (if available) to stick straight into the tow eye holes on the car. Or will I have to get the drill out and scuff my knuckles to get something up to the job?
You might be surprised to know that just about the cheapest place for the normal screw-in ones is from your local Porsche centre. Cost me about £12 for the 964 IIRC.Im just after the screw in fellas (if available) to stick straight into the tow eye holes on the car. umm.. they cost like £10 each from your local Porsche dealer.
I'll look into this then (although not sure where a local Porsche dealership is), I was thinking they'd need to be larger than the standard size. Okay - thanks chaps, I'll have an ask about and see what i can come up with!
