How's this done?

I work for a company selling commercial catering equipment & sundries.
A month or 2 ago, a guy (a magician) came in wanting to buy a few boxes of forks for his show.
He came back about a after asking for some more forks for his show, the guys in the shop asked what he wanted them for.
He showed them that he bend forks (no idea how).
The guys were skeptical and asked him to prove it.
He took a completely un-bent fork, put it in the hand of my work colleague and did some magician stuff and twisted the stem of the fork.
It went into my colleagues hand unbent or twisted & came out as below.
It was'nt slight of hand as we re-watched the CCTV and he does'nt seem change the fork & it 100% goes in my colleagues hand as "normal"
This is how the fork ended up:

We've tried doing this by hand and it's not possible.

37 degrees isn't going to do squat to a fork. If it did, they would melt when in contact with mash potato. must have been a different fork. did your colleacgue have his hand clasped over the prongs? did he feel anything?

I've no idea how it's done. But I do know that I can easliy bend unheated steel cutlery very easliy with my hands. (I.e. bending the head of a spoon relative to the handle, Geller style.) Can't see the photo at work so I don't know exactly what this chap has done. I presume he's a sourcerer of a wizard of somekind.

I think some used chemicals, but can't quite remember
