My mate has replaced his chim 4.0 suspension and now has old ones going begging. I've measured them both loaded and unloaded and appear to be a straight swap.
Has anyone had any experience of this? can't quite beleive it would be a straight swap though.

cheers

from what I've read the fronts are a straight swap but the rears are an inch (25mm for you youngsterslaugh) and you need to move the bracket on the trailing arms - this is exactly what I'm going to do.

Just curious, why are you going to the trouble of doing that, are the longer ones better in some way?

When buying my gaz's I'm sure said reseller stated externally they are the same but I think the valving might be different to suite the S. The leverage ratio on the trailing arms compared to the double wishbones are probably different so require different valving?
It came up as he was short of s ones and said he could alter a set of chims to suite.
