When two worlds collide....
Discussion
I refer of course to "The internet" (OK, PH) and the more realistic but less interesting "real life".
I called my insurance company yesterday to make sure my policy would renew, was having a chat with the guy on the phone -it's quite a niche company I think, not like Direct Line or anything, so I guess he had time to chat- then he mentions "Oh, and thanks for recommending us on Pistonheads".
Turns out he (or I guess you, if you're reading this) is a bit of a regular.
Was a bit of a shock really. My side of the conversation was a bit "Er, Yeah, I'm on it a lot too" after that.
Of course it would be easy to ask "oh, so who are you/what's your username then?" But for some reason it seemed rude.
Has anyone else come across this?
And who are you Insurance Man!?!?

Helps them as well though, people openly discuss mods on forums, but not on insurance details.
