Hagerty would not insure me last year as they changed there policy and stopped insuring under 30's on TVRs, however prior to this they quoted me £400 but I ended up paying £580. Thats me and the wife, 5000 miles, i was 26 at the time, car garaged, living in a good area, no points and 1 non fault claim.

Ditto Flux - a little over £500, on the road in London, 36 yrs old, clean licence. The Ride Drive discount of 25% is a benefit, as is their willingness to price match lower quotes. With them for 4 yrs now on all of my vehicles.

Just renewed mine, 2000 Tuscan, age 43, 3 points, garaged, £299 with Haggerty. 3000 miles limit with £20 to add each extra 1000 miles.

I went from A plan (£980 renewal) to Hagerty costing me only £500!!. Slightly higher xs as I keep my car outdoors so it was £350 not £150. Agreed value, limited milage 34 yrs old valued 14K.

A plan did re-quote at £450 when challanged but it was a market value policy which I did not feel was worth the £50 reduction balanced against any potential loss in the event of a write off.
