I cooked two large fillets last night (simply coated in crumb and seeds) but only ate one of them.

I've put the other in the fridge, and I'll have it for dinner tonight but the question is how to reheat? Pop it in the oven again or use the microwave?

Simple enough question, but I want to avoid a dry bit of fish as an end result.

Oven will probably dry the fish, microwave will make it soggy... why not flake it into some curried rice, chop up a few boiled eggs and make a sort of kedgeree?

Mix it in with an appropriate amount of mashed spuds, shape, flour and fry until they're brown.

Mmmmmmm, fishcakes.

Microwaive it, then crips it up under the grill.
Job done. (Works with slightly stale bread as well).

(assuming you don't want to transform it into something else).

I was going to have hake last night, but I was late home and the rest of the family had eaten my portion.

My missed hake, I suppose.

I would cover it and microwave, as long as it's covered the moisture will remain.
