The main cat in the 'Y' piece on my Chimaera is poorly and not doing it's stuff for the MoT emissions.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone used it? Any good?

I've not used it but PPC magazine tried it and said it worked

So probably worth a go

Not used this product but have used another similar. Whilst i believe it "may" clean the fuel lines, injectors, valves and piston crowns and also, if like the other product i have used certain things within its make up survive the combustion process it "may" clean the oxy/lambda sensors it is highly unlikely it will have any effect on the cat. The cat opperates at a temp that exceeds 700 degrees c !!. Anything that cleans carbon deposits and laquers from the fuel system will help with emmisions. Plus a clean engine oil and air filter may be all you need to do.Oh, and a sympathetic tester
But fix a damaged cat.....??..... My guess would be no.

Make sure the car is red hot when you take it and make sure it is straight in for its mot.
