The looks are ok, it seems to be a fusion of many different supercars' looks - perhaps somewhat inevitably!

I would think that it will be very very good to drive....

Anyone despositing or perhaps already full?

Looks like the love child of a Gallardo and 458 to me. Also the wing mirrors look like they're off a Noble M12.

I do like it though.

I'm not too keen on the headlights, looks a bit like an Evora. Interesting reading that it will be smaller than it's rivals; it looks pretty chunky in the pictures. Although I guess next to an F1 most things look chunky!

I thought I was the only one thought that. Even the early "leaked" photos made me think that. I like the burnt orange colour and it will be a stonking car no doubt but it doesn't get my heart racing, maybe in the flesh it will.

I sat in the car and had a good chat at the MTC a couple of months ago, and it sounds like a very interesting prospect.

speed/acceleration stats not too dissimilar to the LP560 and Scud, but they say grip and handling are in a different league. can't wait to try one.

anybody else on the "interest expressed" list with McLaren?

Yep, have been for a good couple of years since this was rumoured.... am expecting them to manage their lists a damned sight better than certain other manufacturers I could mention

I have also seen the car in the flesh at the MTC. Can't wait to see it on the track and see how it fares against the competition- I doubt anyone can outdo the tehchnology that has gone into this vehicle.

Saw it on the BBC news last night and it looked fantastic. 600bhp, low weight along with Mclaren gizmos will put it on a different league to the Gallardos and 458's in my opinion.

I prefer the look of the 458 but i think this car is going to be ground breaking.

I was visiting the Technical centre on an unrelated matter, expressed my interest and was introduced to the then Car division MD, in the meantime I've done a couple of Market research things as well ie expectations of dealers etc
