Need a new Windscreen in the Griff, went to the car this morning and it’s cracked right across one corner. I’d rather not go the Auto Glass route as my policy has the option of using a garage of my choice.

So can anybody recommend a local’ish company.

John, owner of A1 Carglass, South Boulevard Ind Est is a good experienced fitter. Not saying he has or could do a Griff but he's definitely worth asking and he'll tell you straight or advise you accordingly.

He sorted my Taimar years ago correctly identifying it needed special rubbers and not the junk someone had incorrectly fitted years early which allowed the screen to pop out the top edge over 100!!

If you call John tell him I sent you. He loves me. Well, everyone does so no surprise there then, lol.

Thanks for that, I’ve got one sorted from Selby TVR with a well experienced fitter. Taking her in Saturday.

What's that costing you Simon? Mine has a repaired chip from a past life. So you never know when......

I've been quoated £420 plus VAT, that was dependant on the source and availability of a suitable screen.
