Hey all,

More a 'testing the water' then a def sale at the mo, but work changes mean i wont be needing to travel so far so im tempted to sell my 330d.

Its an 04
330d M Sport
100k on the clock
Full BMW history bar last service
DMS Remap (so approx 260bhp)
Very clean car - no dents or anything
4 new michelin tyres (as in 2 days ago!)
Silver
Black leather
Becker Sat nav built in.

Thoughts?

Very high mileage for an 04 car. That will deter a lot of buyers, so you'll have to be keen, probably £8k max.

shame, I'm sorely tempted by your car,
I've an '02 on 115k miles but fancy trading for a younger car with more POWER

hehe

100k shouldn't bother people who know about the 330d if you've maintained it

The whole mieage business really annoys me.

I was considering selling my 330d sport touring but I just couldn't as I love it too much. Also the fact it is worth more than it actually is if that makes any sense.

It has every option apart from the remote garage thingy. So, nav, heated seats, nappa leather, rear privacy glass, elec M seats, dice ipod, integrated bluetooth, xenons etc etc

However it's coming upto 124k now and that really hampers the value for some reason. Whats funny is that if I was to change the mileage to 40k I would get a hell of alot of more money for it and no one would even notice from the interior. Rear seats have no wear whatsoever as the passenger seat too. Driver seat is the only one that shows some wearbut not extreme. Even has a new steering wheel on it to make it look nicer biggrin Also the fact that I detail it pretty often helps....

Can't even find any other touring with the same or even similar spec as mine, so I just wouldn't know where to price it at. But anyhoo I'm going to keep it and take it to 200k perhaps 300k as I am doing a healthy amount of mileage atm hehe

Assuming it's auto....personally I'd stick it up for £9750 and accept nearer 9k. It's a good spec' and, as someone's already mentioned, 100k on a 330d with full BMWSH is only half way through it's life. The only thing that would put me off is the remap and all the hassle declearing it for insurance purposes.

There's a lack of sport tourings around and I think you'd have no trouble getting £9k for it.

I have a 54' auto sport touring with 73k and, last week, was offered £10k without even advertising it - someone approached me in Tesco car park!

haha, I sold a virtually immaculate manual 330d sport touring with 65k and all the toys (nav, heated leather, privacy glass, PDC etc etc) for 10.5k 2 months ago. Sold at 1st viewing, looks like I should have asked for more, although I did need to sell fast.

There is this one at £10500 with 50k miles, so I would expect to get around £8k for yours if you're being realistic.

I have no problem with high miles, but you will have to replace a lot more on a car between 100-150k miles than at any other time, and all that costs money.
